Fall is here, and you know what that means… preserving the harvest! When it seems like the bounty is bigger than you have the time and energy for, the freezer comes in handy. You can even temporarily store things in the freezer that you plan to preserve later via another method – for example, freezing berries to make jam with later, when the harvest has subsided.
