When to start seeds indoors

Wondering when to start seeds indoors for your area? This quick 2-minute video explains how to find out.

While it may not be quite time yet in some areas of the U.S., in more Southern areas, it’s almost time to start some of your seedlings indoors if you want to get a head start on your garden for this year.

This is an important consideration, as if you start them too early, they can get root-bound or nutrient deficient before it’s time to put them in the ground. No matter where you live, there are lots of helpful tools out there to help you determine when to start seeds indoors.
