Get growing sooner with cold frames

Ready to get your garden going? While it’s not quite spring just yet, here are 5 tips for getting growing sooner!

We got to sample a welcome taste of spring last weekend, but winter has not released his clutches on us just yet…. Luckily, you can start doing more than just dreaming about your summer garden, even while consistently warmer day are still a ways off!

You can get an extra-early start on your growing season by starting some of your seedlings indoors, such as cauliflower, cabbages, tomatoes, and onions.

You can even plant some hardier seedlings, such as lettuce and radishes, outdoors under protection (such as in a cold frame), once the day length increases and the ground is no longer frozen.
