Easy homemade garden gift ideas

Celebrate the season by giving these unique homemade garden gift ideas to those you love!

A white Christmas is great, but what about a green Christmas? Making your own gifts is a great way to show your love for your friends and family – and support the planet at the same time. As a gardener, you have the opportunity to make your own homemade garden gifts to give your loved ones something unique and special this year that they won’t find anywhere else!

For example, you could make jams or baked goods using fruit that you grew in your garden. Or how about a homemade vinegar or liqueur in a pretty bottle? Personally, I love making homemade granola or oatmeal cookies with dried ground cherries from this year’s garden, and homemade schnapps or wine are also great gifts. Potted herbs or seeds saved from your favorite garden varieties can keep the gift going all year long!

This quick video shares 10 fun homegrown and homemade holiday gift ideas. These creative ideas will show your loved ones how much you care, while also caring for the beautiful Earth that we live on!
