Spring is here, which means, it’s time to plant potatoes! 🙂  Depending on where you live, you may plant your potatoes as early as late February or early March, but here in Ohio, we typically plant around the beginning of April. Areas further north may still need to wait a few more weeks. In general, you should plan to plant your potatoes about 6 weeks before your last frost date.

While potatoes are generally quite easy to grow, following a few simple preparation steps before planting can help to maximize plant health and increase your yield.
